Will the plant I ordered look the same as the photo shown?

True to its photo, the plant you see on the store's website is the one you will receive.

Plants are living beings, so there may be a slight change in the appearance of them between taking photos and receiving your order. For example, she might have a new leaf 🌱

What care should I give my plant when it arrives?

We invite you to do some research on caring for your new precious green in order to provide it with the right environment. Here are a few points that will simplify your research:

  1. It is important to wait at least 2 to 3 weeks after the arrival of your plant before repotting it. A rapid change in substrate could damage or kill your plant.
  2. After this time, if you wish to repot in another substrate, it is important that it is appropriate to the needs of your plant.
  3. Please research the type of substrate, the type of light, the frequency of watering as well as the level of humidity that it will need to flourish. Each plant is unique and each needs specific components.

Some plants are very easy to care for, but some also require a lot more effort and knowledge. Take note that some rare plants are not for beginners.

In what condition will my order be sent?

We ship your/plants with their initial pot and substrate. Typically, your gems will be in a plastic cup containing sphagnum moss. In addition, adhesive will be used to keep the substrate in the plastic glass throughout transport. Poly-fill will be placed between the leaves of your plants so that they are not damaged during the journey. Finally, we use kraft cardboard to prevent certain shipping damage.

Note that some packaging will be additional considering the season of the year (winter shipping -> thermal protection).

Shipping/Pickup

Where should I pick up my order?

You can pick up your order at 86 rue des Bouleaux, Sept-Îles, G4S 1G6.

It is important to select the "Pickup" option when paying for your basket. In order to schedule an appointment to pick up your order, you must go to our Facebook page and click on "Make an appointment".

When your order is ready for pickup, you will receive an email to confirm your appointment to pick up your package.

Please note that it will take us 1-2 days to prepare your order.

Once there, we invite you to stay in your vehicle. We will deliver your package to you personally.

Due to our restocking cycle, we cannot keep plants sold for longer than one week. If ever you have an impediment that does not allow you to pick up your order, please send us an email at the following address info@ademverde.com as soon as possible.

Can I combine my order with that of a friend?

My pleasure! However, we must accept a maximum number of combined shipments due to shipping box standards. If you wish to join your order with a friend, additional charges may apply.

The main address and the one listed on the shipping box will be that of the person responsible for paying all shipping costs. It is your responsibility to inform us who will be joining your order as well as the plants that will be part of it.

Where can I find the tracking number for my order?

You will receive an email notifying you that your package has been shipped. The tracking number will be mentioned there.

So you don't need to message us to get it.

Is it possible to ship my order in winter?

Yes! We offer shipping in the winter season.

To do this, it is important to include the “thermal protection” product in your basket. This product consists of a thermal insulation film and a “heatpack”. If we see the need, we will place your order in a styrofoam box to increase the chances of insulation.

In addition, if we consider that the conditions are too extreme for the shipment of your plants (example: a storm, temperature below -30°C, general delays by delivery services, etc.) we will wait a few days/weeks before to send your precious package to prevent damage.

Pre-Orders

What is a pre-order?

A pre-order is a plant that is not yet imported. It is therefore important to read the description carefully considering that the photo of the product will not necessarily be identical to the one you will receive.

In addition, it is necessary to calculate a few weeks (± 6 weeks) before sending your pre-order since your precious will need acclimatization time. In addition, this period may be extended if we notice that your plant requires more care than expected.

Is it possible to add another item to an order already placed?

If your order has not been shipped and you wish to add an item to it, you can use the code "ADD" so as not to pay shipping costs a second time. It is important to leave a note with the number of your previous order as well as to use the same name and surname.
